Verdent is a marketplace for video editors. Editors show their work in a portfolio. Clients find them, agree a price in chat and pay through a protected payment, so both sides know where they stand.
Finding paid editing work is hard, and hiring a good editor is just as hard. Verdent puts both on one platform, built by someone from the editing community.
Verdent was founded by Kane Kapp, a video editor and member of the online editing community, based in Berlin. He built Verdent because he knows the problem from the inside: talented editors struggle to find paid work, and clients struggle to find editors they can trust.
Verdent is built around the way editors and clients actually work together: clear portfolios, upfront prices, and payment that is protected for both sides.
The marketplace is not live yet. You can sign up for the newsletter on the start page to hear when we launch, or answer the optional survey to help shape it.
